Heading to NYC in the colder weather helped me narrow down which food tour I was going to take this time around. I traded in wandering through a neighbourhood outdoors to a tour of the famous indoor Chelsea Market. This turned out to be a great decision as it was very cold the day we went on tour. This is my third tour with Foods of New York and I have come to expe on the excellent food and interesting presentation.
New York City always seems to call me back to it every couple of years and I just can’t get enough. The buildings, the people and of course the theatre! There is nothing like it!
If you have learned anything about my travel style through this blog, it’s probably that I love food tours! I try to take one on every trip I go on, and they never disappoint me. I recommend them over and over again to all my family and friends and they are almost always my favorite activity while travelling. My favorite activity on my trip to Boston, Massachusetts was the Samuel Adams Brewery Tour. My boyfriend and I had read about the tour on Tripadvisor and thought it would be worth checking out. We dragged my parents along with us for the very first tour of the day, the Morning Mash In, starting at 9:40am. Who wouldn’t want to sample some Sam Adam’s beer for breakfast? Continue reading

When planning my trip to Boston, Massachusetts I knew exactly what my top choice would be on the itinerary, and since I was travelling with my family this time around I was so excited to introduce them to the concept of neighbourhood food tours!
I am by no means an expert about Las Vegas, I have only been to the strip once and did not have enough time to visit every attraction I was interested in. That being said, once I got my bearings and spent some time walking the strip, I easily became comfortable and felt as though I had figured Vegas out. Here is my very basic wisdom passed along to you as a first timer: Continue reading
The Heart Attack Grill is a fun theme restaurant in downtown Las Vegas, near Fremont Street. The restaurant is hospital themed and boasts really high-fat, high-calorie, deep fried food that could potentially give you a heart attack. My boyfriend decided that we absolutely had to try this place out and so we went, and here is what we discovered. Continue reading
