There are so many awesome statues and monuments in Ottawa! I used the Capital Tours App to guide me through the city on my hunt for different monuments. Here are some of my favorites that I came across:
During my trip to Ottawa I spent the majority of my time exploring the city by foot and taking in all the buildings and monuments. I discovered so many things that I could do for free which fit into my budget really well. This is a great city for someone strapped for cash, as most of the main attractions are free to visit. Confession time: I LOVE musical theatre! I think part of my obsession with NYC stems from this… maybe? Anyways, I wanted to write a quick post about a fantastic little hole in the wall theatre in Toronto. I live about an hour and a half south of Toronto so it is a pretty easy day trip for me. I will often drive up to see shows (and visit my wonderful cousin).
